Default Can VPS overload?

As I know, normal shared hosting will get overload if some of the domain use up a lot resources of the server. and all the client there will get affected.

So far what I know on VPS will host few amount of account there. and mostly people said won hv this problem. But if one of the account in the same server use up a lot resources, and cause the server overload? does the other client in the same server will get affected?

There's no VPS provider in Malaysia that has a package with a sane price to go with it. It has got to be a coordinated joke among all Malaysian webhosting providers.

Two top recommendations for VPS if you're in the game: slicehost or linode. Forget the rest. Top quality if compared to Malaysian webhosting providers and yes I have accounts with both.

VPS is a way of partitioning one physical server into multiple servers. Each VPS account appears as if it run it own dedicated server.

Overloading from a VPS account wont affect the others in the server. Otherwise I don't see the point of spending more to get a VPS instead of normal shared hosting.

I've recently looked into VPS hosting too and am very interested. Because from what I know it makes the site load much faster. However is it easy to transfer from a shared hosting account to a VPS, especially if its across different host providers?
